Service Issues Possible Cause Suggestions
Scale displays “ERR-1"
  1. Platform is not connected to console
  2. Cable from platform damaged
  3. Load cell problem
  1. Check transducer cable connection
  2. Check for cut or damaged wires
  3. Call for service
Scale won’t turn on
  1. Disposable alkaline batteries are weak
  2. Bad Key Pad
  1. Replace with new batteries
  2. Call for repair
Scale displays "ERR-2" or "ERR-3"
  1. Capacity of scale has been exceeded
  1. Do not place more than the rated capacity for repair
Scale Displays "ERR-4"
  1. Insufficient weight on platform to calibrate
  1. Use at least 100 lbs. to calibrate
Scale is drifting
  1. Move to dry location
  1. Firmly plug in all cables
Erratic weight readings on platform
  1. Scale touching wall or desk
  2. Leveling feet not screwed tightly
  3. Scale on deep plush carpet
  1. Move away from wall or desk
  2. Tightly screw in all four leveling feet
  3. Move to harder surface
Incorrect weights
  1. Scale is out of calibration
  1. Follow calibration instructions
LB/KG button does not function
  1. Button lock has been activated
  2. Height has been set in BMI mode before user stands on platform
  1. See manual
  2. Press "ON/ZERO" to clear height or step on scale platform
